After a rollercoaster couple of days on the YU campus to start this Sarachek tournament, #13 DRS Wildcats ventured into TABC to start Tier II play and soundly defeated #20 Kushner 59-29 on Friday. The Wildcats came out hot, sprinting to a 22-4 lead after the opening frame, and never looked back en route to a commanding win.

Tzvi Tsaidi scored 18 points, while Joe Aaron added 16. For Kushner, Coby Brand and James Orbach had eight each, but it wasn’t nearly enough. With their victory here, the Wildcats set themselves up with #12 Berman, who had a bye in the bracket, in the Tier II Quarterfinals on Saturday night, while Kushner drops to Tier III and will face #17 Cooper on Sunday.
