Facing the 16th seeded MTA Lions after a two day hiatus, the Wolfpack secured a commanding 67-45 victory, setting up a showdown with DRS in the Tier II semifinals. While the game started off closely, with MTA keeping pace, the favorites' superiority began to show as they found their rhythm, particularly in transition. By the second quarter, they were executing flawlessly and steadily pulled away, ultimately cruising to a comfortable win. MTA meanwhile will face Berman in Tier II consolation.
