The #16-seeded HA Montreal Heat will face the #1-seeded DRS Wildcats in a matchup of high-tempo offense versus championship pedigree on Thursday at 11:30 AM in the MSAC.
DRS enters Sarachek as the clear favorite, having secured back-to-back Yeshiva League titles. Despite losing key players from last year's roster, Coach Moshe Cohen’s team hasn't skipped a beat, finishing with a 13-1 league record. The Wildcats are led by Gabie Spodek, the team's "coach on the floor," and Michael Soloman, their emotional leader. Elisha Tsaidi provides the scoring punch, while Yitz Bennett controls the glass.

Montreal, coming off a strong 7-3 regular season, is no stranger to deep tournament runs. The team reached the Tier II semifinals last year, where they fell to DRS in a double-overtime thriller. Under Coach Morrie Levy, Montreal plays at a fast pace, aided by its experience with a 24-second shot clock. They are led by Simon Alloul, one of the tournament's elite defenders and scorers, alongside Daniel Levy and defensive specialist Isaac Alloul.
