Flatbush came out pushing the pace in the second quarter, going up by six at one point. However, SAR kept their composure knocking down a pair of threes, along with some trips to the line to take the lead going into halftime 25-21.

The Sting came out of halftime on fire, going on a 7-0 run to start the second half. Irwin Azar led Flatbush with a little run of their own, but SAR kept getting out on the break, extending their lead to 46-31 at the end of the third quarter.

The Falcons started the fourth quarter on an 8-2 run to cut the lead to 9, but SAR made adjustments during a timeout and ran away with the game. The Sting’s pace and shooting was too much for the Falcons to handle. The final score was 65-43 SAR.

With the win, SAR will face TABC on Sunday at 2:30 PM at the Max Stern Athletic Center, while Flatbush will go to the Tier I consolation bracket and face Shalhevet on Sunday at 8:30AM at the TABC gym.
