On Friday at 1:30 PM, the (12) Ida Crown Aces will face off against the (21) Beren Stars for a Tier II qualifier game in the TABC gym.
Coming off of a tough loss to Shalhevet on Thursday evening, Ida Crown will look to salvage their Sarachek. The Aces had a couple of stellar quarters against Shalhevet but they could not rebound from their brutal third quarter in which they were outscored 19-4. Most of the players on Ida Crown posted at least a few points with guard Yoni Arnet producing 12 points himself. The team as a whole produced 17 rebounds and 10 assists. They work well as a team, moving the ball around and playing unselfishly.
Seeded at #21, Beren has yet to play a Sarachek game in 2022. The Stars lack a deep roster and lack height. An upset will be hard to pull off, but they may find hope with the Aces coming off a tough loss Thursday. Nathan Bogomolny and Elie Gelman need to step up and utilize their height to give their team a chance to win.
This exciting Tier II qualifier matchup will tip-off from TABC Gym 1 at 1:30 PM.
