After being routed by Flatbush 77-43 on Thursday, the Fuchs Mizrachi Mayhem started their second tier title defense with a 75-49 demolition of Ohr Hatorah from Hollywood, Florida on Friday at TABC.
The Ohio boys started slow, but eventually the Jacobs duo of Moshe and Nate took things over. Moshe poured in 34 points, while Nate added 22. The turning point was a 25-12 spurt in the second quarter, seeing Fuchs’ lead balloon to 42-23 at intermission, and it was a grip they never relinquished.

The victory sees Fuchs advance to a Saturday night tilt with the tenth-seeded Ramaz Rams in the Tier II Quarterfinals. That game will be held at 9:30pm at TABC. Meanwhile, the loss for Ohr Hatorah sees them fall to Tier III, as they will face off against the (15) Kohelet Kings in a Sunday Semifinal game at the Max Stern Athletic Center.
