Despite tough losses on Sunday, the tournament is not over for SAR and DRS. They play each other in the Tier I 3rd place game.
SAR had a great run in the tournament. They have weighed heavily on star point guard Judah Oppenheimer, who has shown plenty of skill so far. Unfortunately for the Sting, they were defeated by Magen David in the Tier I semifinal.
DRS had a last minute victory against TABC on Friday to advance to the semifinal, but played the best team in the tournament--Shalhevet-on Sunday, and lost 60-41. The Wildcats will look to their depth to carry them, as they have shown to be one of the more complete teams in the tournament.
DRS vs. SAR will determine which team is the third place team by the end of the tournament. Both teams will try to end the journey in the tourney on a high note.
