Updated: Sep 2, 2019

The #4 ranked DRS Wildcats and the #5 TABC Storm battled in the 10:00 AM window on Sarachek Friday. This game would determine who would play in the top tier semifinal round on Sunday.

The beginning of the first quarter displayed well-executed defense from both teams. TABC finished the quarter strong as they pulled ahead 11-5 to the start the game.

The Storm increased their lead, but DRS rallied at the end of the quarter to make the halftime score 20-15. The scoring appeared present in the second quarter, which looked to continue throughout the game.

The third quarter was DRS’s quarter. The Wildcats started the third quarter with an 10-0 run to take the lead 25-20. DRS ended up outscoring the Storm 15-5 in the period to give them a five-point, 30-25 lead.

TABC tied the game with two and a half minutes to go in the game at 34. While the final quarter wasn’t high scoring one, it was certainly an intense one.
