On Monday, the ninth-seeded DRS Wildcats and the fourteenth-seeded Fuchs Mizrachi Mayhem faced off in the Tier II championship at the Max Stern Athletic Center as both looked to top off their seasons with some hardware.

Using their size and quick feet, the Mayhem blasted the Wildcats, causing chaos on both ends of the floor to the tune of a 36-15 halftime lead, highlighted by another emphatic Ephraim Blau dunk which punctuated a 22-4 first quarter. DRS would make things exciting and, on the backs of Isaac Solomon and Ari Saffra, used a 25-4 run, trimming their deficit to 40-30. Yet it wouldn’t be enough, as Steven Brenis got going from beyond the arc, and Blau followed suit down low, securing Fuchs' 53-39 triumph for their first Tier II Sarachek Championship in school history.
