Columbus Lions Win Tier-IV First Place

Aaron and Daniel Polster erupted in the fourth quarter to complete a Columbus comeback victory against the HA Montreal Heat, wasting a 33-point effort by Ari Drazin. The big blows came with six minutes left in the game, when the Polsters’s three-pointer followed by a layup-plus-free throw turned a one-point deficit into a five-point lead that the Lions would never relinquish. Drazin’s late effort kept the game within reach for the Heat, but missed opportunities by Montreal combined with strong free throw shooting by Columbus gave the Lions the Tier IV title by the final score of 61-50.
