Langer Scores 23 In His Final Game, As Frisch Wins

With 3 minutes left in the Tier I 3rd-place game, a Jason Langer acrobatic runner off the glass extended the Frisch lead to seven. Just a minute later, Eytan Potash came up behind Max Feldstein to swat the ball away after the Ramaz star, who was again off on this day for his team, seemed to have broken away from the pack off of a slick steal. Langer, Potash, and point guard David Stein would drain all ten of their final minute free throws to seal the 49-45 win for Frisch, and Langer would finish with 23 points in his final high school game.
Gindi's Heroics Steal Win For YULA

With the Max Stern Athletic Center on the verge of explosion, YULA panthers guard Zack Finder dribbled down the court dishing it around trying to find an open man. With the clock reading six seconds, Valley Torah star Center Aaron Liberman blocked the shot, seemingly sending the game into overtime.

But the ball fell right into the hands of Jack Gindi, who was standing about 10 feet from the basket on the right baseline. Gindi put up the jumper right as the buzzer sounded, and when it fell through the net, YULA had beaten their LA rivals in an improbable way, 42-40. YULA fans in attendance stormed the court amid the frenzied finish and buzzer-beating shot.
