I've always been a big fan of the Sarachek tournament, even all the way from Israel. But I was rather disappointed with a few of the seedings this year.

I'm no expert but from what i hear the Aces have a clutch point guard this year and maybe the champs from a couple years ago deserve a bit more respect than 9th. But that is debatable seeing as how, I'm assuming, all of their championship team players have left.

I think that also, maybe FUCHS should have been seeded higher... I mean with Jonny and Diamond they're a force to be reckoned with. 13th seed is too low for these guys.

But I've saved the most disappointing of all for last. I just got off the phone with a buddy of mine from Canada, and we agreed that the Or Chaim Knights have been disrespected with 14th. Not only were they undefeated in last year's tournament, but I hear that captain Maresky has been averaging 20 points a game and a double/double in the Catholic A-league up there in Toronto. A kid like that deserves a chance with tier 1. And with the supporting cast of Kurtz and Koschitsky, both of whom were also on last year's squad, why must the Knights have to fight for tier 2? They should at leasttt, have a chance at the tier1.

I'll definitely still be following the Sarachek, but I'm still hoping that one day the Canadian team will be shown the respect it deserves...
