The Yeshiva League Conundrum

There are a number of categories into which the teams coming to play in the 19th Red Sarachek Tournament can be split up.

Tier I, Tier II, Tier III, Tier IV.
East Coast, Midwest, West Coast.
In town, out of town.
And finally, 15 and 5; 15 teams who don’t play in the Yeshiva League and 5 who do.

A Knight's Tale

Sarachek is just around the corner and that can only mean one thing: CONTROVERSY!!!! Last year it was Ida Crown not being invited and Valley getting the top seed, and this year the hot topic that is burning up our comments section is the seeding of the Yeshiva Or Chaim Knights out of Toronto, Canada. That’s right. Our neighbors from the Great White North feel they were slighted by being put at the 14th seed, out of range of Tier-I. I plan to break down the argument from both sides and let you be the judge, because, frankly, I’m getting sick of all the e-mails that a new comment has been posted on the site!!!

A Little Bit Of Projection: Part Deux

Well the 19th Annual Red Sarachek Tournament is just around the corner and that means it is time for "A Little Bit of English" to get the ball rolling again. With the announcement of the final four teams yesterday, the field is now complete and we can begin to really focus on the nitty gritty and most importantly predictions and projections. With that in mind, "A Little Bit of English" is proud to unveil the first attempt at guessing the seeding for the Tournament which will be officially announced sometime next week.
